By independently certifying water-efficient turf varieties and plants and certifying them with the Drought Smart Tick of approval this program will empower farmers and consumers to make informed choices about the best varieties of plants to use for drought conditions. Drought Smart aims to spearhead efforts in turf and plant agricultural selection, focused on water use reduction, addressing a critical need in the face of escalating water scarcity concerns.
